Westminster, SC — The City of Westminster Fire Department is proud to announce it has received a $1,500 grant from Walmart’s Spark Good Local Grants Program. This funding will be used to purchase specialized emergency response bags to support our first responders in delivering advanced life-saving care.

These rugged, well‑organized medical carry cases are designed to hold critical supplies—such as oxygen delivery tools, airway management kits, trauma dressings, and cardiac care equipment—ensuring quick, efficient access at the scene. With these bags, our emergency teams will be able to respond faster and more effectively to serious medical emergencies, helping safeguard the health and wellbeing of residents and visitors alike.

We’re incredibly grateful to Walmart and Sam’s Club for their generous $1,500 grant,” said Richard Klaren, Westminster Fire Marshal, “These new medical bags will directly enhance our emergency response capabilities and help us better serve the residents of Westminster. It’s partnerships like this that strengthen our community.”
