THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER IS UNDER A BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
DATE: 3/21/2024
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PUBLIC WORKS ADVISES THE ENTIRE WATER SYSTEM TO VIGOROUSLY BOIL THEIR WATER FOR AT LEAST (1) FULL MINUTE PRIOR TO DRINKING OR COOKING.
WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF TESTING BACTERIOLOGICAL SAMPLES TO DETERMINE IF THE WATER HAS BEEN CONTAMINATED. THE POTENTIAL CONTAMINATION IS DUE TO A BREAK IN A MAIN WATER LINE. THEREFORE RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO BOIL THEIR WATER FOR AT LEAST (1) MINUTE BEFORE DRINKING OR COOKING UNTIL OTHERWISE NOTIFIED BY THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PUBLIC WORKS. ALSO, ANY ICE MADE FROM WATER, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN BOILED, SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR DRINKING PURPOSES.
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER HAS RESTORED SERVICE AND ARE WAITING THE BACTERIOLOGICAL TESTING TO BE COMPLETED. NEXT UPDATE WILL BE TOMORROW MORNING, 3/22/2024.
