Westminster, SC — The City of Westminster will observe the Christmas on December 24, 25, and 26, 2025, and the New Year’s holiday January 1 and 2, 2026. Public Safety services will be available as usual, and Utility Crews will be available on call as needed.
Residents are advised of the following adjustments to the City’s garbage collection schedule:
- Wednesday pickup (Christmas Eve, December 24): Collection will occur on Tuesday, December 23.
- Thursday pickup (Christmas Day, December 25): Collection will proceed as normal but will begin earlier; carts should be placed out the night before.
- Friday pickup (Day After Christmas, December 26): All collections will proceed as normal.
- Thursday pickup (New Year’s Day, January 1): All collections will proceed as normal.
- Friday Pickup (Day After New Year’s, January 2): All collections will proceed as normal.
